“During the latter part of 2007 / 2008 the Refinery did a complete Network Upgrade of all it’s Cisco equipment, Hewlett Packard were the primary contractors, but all the cabling work was carried out by Vitel Cabling.Part of the Network Upgrade involved the installation of more fibre optic cable as well as completely moving one of the main network cabinets in the Administration block which had over 150 connections. This work was carried out with in time and on budget with very little disruption to the day to day operation of the staff.”
